The Challenge

Tridev Computech required a hassle-free, scalable setup of Jibri—Jitsi’s recording and streaming component—that could automatically adjust resources on AWS. The existing Jitsi Meet setup needed customization to disable certain toolbar items, improving user focus during meetings. Furthermore, integrating geo-capturing capabilities via middleware was critical for their business insights. Securing the Jibri servers to maintain confidentiality and providing implementation guidance added to the scope.

4. Develop Auto-Recording Plugin: Authored a plugin to trigger and manage automatic recording of meetings, minimizing manual intervention and boosting reliability.

5. Secure Jibri Server Setup: Applied security best practices including firewall rules, user permissions, and encryption to safeguard recording data and server integrity.

6. Provide Middleware Guidance for Geo-Capturing: Offered expert consultancy to Tridev’s developers on building middleware capable of capturing and processing geographic information of participants.
