The Challenge

Truventor AI faced constraints with their existing manual Jibri setup, limited to recording only seven concurrent meetings, limiting their operational scalability. Additionally, there was a pressing need to transfer and securely store recordings along with user and meeting metadata on a cloud storage platform. Managing these processes manually introduced risks of data mismanagement and operational inefficiencies. The objective was to establish a seamless autoscaling mechanism and automate secure file transfers to Azure’s cloud storage environment.

Our Approach

To address Truventor AI’s requirements, we developed and deployed a comprehensive scaling service for their Jibri infrastructure, integrated tightly with Azure storage solutions. Our multi-faceted strategy included:

  1. Implementing Autoscaling for Jibri: We designed an autoscaling mechanism that dynamically adjusts the number of Jibri servers based on real-time demand, enabling unlimited concurrent meeting recordings without manual intervention.

  2. Integrating Azure File and Blob Storage: We configured secure pipelines to sync recorded meeting files directly to Azure File Storage or Azure Blob Storage, optimizing for durability, accessibility, and compliance.

  3. Metadata-Driven Storage Architecture: Each recording is stored with embedded user information, meeting details, and additional metadata within the storage path to facilitate efficient retrieval and auditing.

  4. Comprehensive Operation Guide: Post-deployment, we produced a detailed operational guide, including a video tutorial, empowering Truventor’s technical team to manage, monitor, and troubleshoot the scalable Jibri setup independently.

The Result

Truventor AI and Robotics now benefits from a fully scalable Jibri recording environment capable of supporting an unlimited number of concurrent meetings. Secure integration with Azure storage ensures all recordings are systematically archived with rich metadata, enhancing data integrity and accessibility.
